Welcome to the New CCS Blog!

Firstly Welcome to the first official Blog for Concept Care Solutions Community Services.

I’d like to do an introduction post as the first foray into our Blogging and then periodically I will be delving into different aspects of what we do as a company, the communities we are in, the ups and downs of the care industry, to trials and tribulations of recruitment in the care industry and some spot features from our staff and service users and guest spot blogs from others in our industry and community.

Concept Care Solutions has been providing quality care for over 20 years in both the Home Sector and providing staff for NHS and other private organisations.

We currently have branches in

  • Edgware/ Watford

  • Northampton

  • Islington

  • Essex

However, Concept Care is never sitting on our laurels for too long before we tackle another area or project.

We cover many aspects of care from domiciliary, live-in, Support work, and complex care.

We pride ourselves on providing person-centered care and encourage growth and development with both our staff and service users.

Concept Care’s Homecare side has had some major changes to it recently and some great career progression for some of our staff members.

Concept Care Solutions is really proud of the work we do and how inclusive we are as a company and we are currently in the process of registering all our branches with the Disability Confident Scheme.

Northampton and Watford have already received their Level 1 certificates.

Northampton is already going through Level 2.

You may be asking What being a disability-confident employer mean?

Disability Confident is creating a movement of change, encouraging employers to think differently about disability and take action to improve how they recruit, retain, and develop disabled people.

Alex Cook Poulson – Has been with Concept Care for many years, as Northampton’s Registered Manager, and has now been promoted to Homecare Area Manager, which means Alex now oversees all Homecare branches and continues to manage Recruitment and Compliance also. Congratulations Alex!

Nic McLaurie – who started with Concept Care as a Care Assistant and has worked her way up to Co-Ordinator and deputy manager and has just been promoted to Branch Manager of Northampton, Nic is known for tackling the more complex care packages and takes them in her stride and both Alex, Nic and the team in Northampton are thriving with the service users and the Supported Living Accommodation we are providing, and working hybrid until our custom built Cabin/Office is built on the grounds of The Willows our Supported Living Accommodation located in Northampton. Congratulations Nic!

Anum Khan – Anum has also been with Concept Care for a while now and was a Co-Ordinator in our Islington Branch, Anum has thrived in the recent months whilst going through some staffing upheavals and Alex has promoted her to Branch Manager, Congratulations Anum!

Hard work and dedication have given them the chance to commence their journeys to managing a team and safe service, being Mentored, and being supported by a senior manager to achieve their own goals and make a difference.
